Ambassador Kim Jung-ha attended the 2024 Ambassador’s Cup Taekwondo Competition held at Ruskeasuon Sports Hall in Helsinki on Saturday, November 9.

Approximately 430 athletes from countries including Finland and Estonia participated in the competition, which consisted of two events: sparring and Poomsae. In Ambassador's congratulatory remarks, he encouraged the athletes who participated in the competition and expressed his gratitude to the Finnish Taekwondo Association for their cooperation in organizing the competition. Following the congratulatory remarks, K-POP dance teams ‘Checkmate’, ‘Valkyrie’, ‘ABCD’ performed K-POP dance performance to celebrate the event.

In addition, the Kukkiwon Taekwondo demonstration team performed consisting of basic Taekwondo postures, Songpan breaking and Poomsae to the enthusiastic response of the audience.

About 1,000 people, including Taekwondo officials, athletes' families and friends, and Korean residents, attended the event. Officials such as Jenni Pohjonen, President of the Finnish Taekwondo Federation, and Taina Susiluoto, Secretary General of the Finnish Olympic Committee, also attended and enjoyed the event.
